Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Infinite Roof Care Ltd wants everybody to be able to use this website, whatever their level of vision, hearing, mobility or cognitive ability, and whatever technology they use to browse. We are committed to meeting our obligations under the Equality Act 2010 and to conforming with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we have done

This website has been built from the ground up with accessibility in mind, not adjusted afterwards. Specifically:

  • Every function can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Nothing requires a mouse.
  • There is a visible focus outline on every interactive element, so keyboard users can always see where they are.
  • A skip to content link is the first item on every page, so keyboard and screen reader users can bypass the navigation.
  • Body and heading text meets or exceeds a contrast ratio of 4.5 to 1 against its background.
  • Every form field has a properly associated visible label, and errors are announced clearly and in text, never by colour alone.
  • Pages use headings in a logical order, and landmark regions so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
  • Images carry alternative text, and decorative images are hidden from assistive technology.
  • The site is responsive and remains usable when text is enlarged up to 200 per cent.
  • Motion and transitions are reduced automatically if your device requests reduced motion.
  • The cookie banner is keyboard operable, moves focus to itself when it opens, is not a keyboard trap, and is announced to screen readers.

Known limitations

We test regularly, but no website is ever perfect. If we become aware of an issue we will list it here along with what we are doing about it and when we expect it fixed.

Third party content

Where we embed content controlled by another organisation, we cannot guarantee its accessibility. We aim to minimise reliance on third party embeds, and none are loaded before you have consented to the relevant cookie category.

Telling us about a problem

If you find something on this website you cannot access or use, we want to hear about it. Contact us using the telephone number or email address on our contact page, tell us the page and what happened, and we will look into it and reply. If you need information from this site in a different format, ask and we will provide it.

Enforcement

If you contact us about an accessibility problem and you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS), which provides free advice on discrimination and human rights issues in England, Scotland and Wales.
