About cookies on this website

How we handle this
When you first visit, you are shown a banner with three clear choices: accept all, reject all, or manage your preferences. Until you make a choice, only strictly necessary cookies are set. No analytics, no marketing, no tracking pixels, no third party embeds and no maps load before you consent to them.
Our fonts are hosted on our own server rather than loaded from a third party font service, so no request is made to any outside company before you have made your choice.
Cookie categories
Strictly necessary, always active
These are required for the website to function and cannot be switched off. They do not track you and they are not used for advertising.
- Cookie consent record: stores your consent choice and the date and time you made it, so we can honour it and evidence it. Kept for up to 12 months.
- Security tokens: WordPress sets a short lived token on our enquiry forms to protect against cross site request forgery.
- Session cookies: set only if you log in to the website as an administrator.
Analytics, optional
These would help us understand how visitors use the site, which pages are useful and where people get stuck, so we can improve it. They are only set if you opt in. If you do not opt in, no analytics script is loaded at all.
Marketing, optional
These would allow us or our advertising partners to measure the performance of advertising and show relevant ads elsewhere. They are only set if you opt in. If you do not opt in, no marketing script or pixel is loaded.
Changing or withdrawing your choice
You can change your mind at any time. Select Cookie Settings in the footer of any page to reopen the banner and update your preferences, including withdrawing consent entirely. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Every major browser explains how in its help section. Please note that blocking all cookies may stop parts of this or other websites working as intended.
Records of consent
We record the choice you made and the date and time you made it. This is required so we can demonstrate valid consent, and it is kept for up to 12 months.
