Spray Foam Removal

Professional spray foam removal on the South Coast.

What we do

Spray Foam Removal

Have you had spray foam insulation installed in your roof or loft and now need it removed? We safely and efficiently remove both open cell and closed cell spray foam to restore the integrity of your roof, improve air quality and make your property mortgage ready.

We offer a free survey and a removal certificate on completion. If you are not sure which type of foam you have, we can tell you on the visit. Open cell foam is soft and sponge like and can be torn by hand, usually around 10cm thick. Closed cell foam is rigid and dense, applied in thin layers around 2.5cm, and needs special equipment to remove.

What this covers

Mortgage and Remortgage Issues

Many lenders will not approve a mortgage on a property with spray foam insulation, because of concerns over ventilation and damage hidden beneath it.

Trapped Moisture and Rot

Spray foam can hold moisture against the timbers, causing decay, mould and long term structural damage that goes unnoticed for years.

Hidden Roof Problems

The foam often conceals cracked timbers, leaks and damage that simply cannot be seen or assessed until it has been taken out.

Better Insulation Afterwards

Once removed, the roof can be re-insulated with breathable modern materials that allow proper airflow and reduce the long term risk.
