Infinite Roof Care Ltd provides roofing, guttering, chimney and spray foam removal services across the South Coast. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Infinite Roof Care Ltd. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

What personal data we collect
We only collect what we need in order to respond to you and to carry out work you ask us to do.
- When you use a form on this website: your name, email address, telephone number, the details of your enquiry, and the town or postcode of the property where relevant.
- Technical information collected with the submission: the page you submitted from, the date and time, and your IP address. We record the IP address only to prevent spam and abuse of our forms.
- If you become a customer: the site address, details of the work, quotation and invoice records, and any correspondence between us.
- Cookie preferences: your consent choice and the date and time you made it, so we can honour it and evidence it.
We do not collect special category data, and we do not ask for payment card details through this website.
Our lawful basis for using your data
Under the UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for processing personal data. Ours are:
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): when you tick the box on a form to agree we may use your details to respond to your enquiry, and when you accept non essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Contract (Article 6(1)(b)): where we are preparing a quotation for you, or carrying out work you have engaged us to do.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): to keep our website secure and to prevent fraudulent and abusive form submissions. We have considered your rights and interests and believe this processing is proportionate.
- Legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)): to keep accounting and tax records as required by law.
How we use your data
We use your personal data to reply to your enquiry, to prepare and send you a quotation, to arrange and carry out work, to invoice you, to keep proper business records, and to respond to any question or complaint afterwards.
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We will not add you to a marketing list from a service enquiry alone.
Who we share your data with
We share personal data only where it is necessary, and only with:
- Our website and email hosting providers, who store the data on our behalf.
- Our accountant and, where required, HM Revenue and Customs.
- Suppliers or subcontractors where they need the site address to deliver materials or complete part of the work.
- Our insurers or legal advisers, if there is a claim or dispute.
- Law enforcement or a regulator, where we are legally required to do so.
Where a supplier processes data on our behalf, they act only on our instructions and are bound by a written agreement.
How long we keep your data
- Enquiries that do not lead to work: up to 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Quotations that are not accepted: up to 24 months.
- Customer and job records, including invoices: six full financial years after the end of the accounting period, as required for tax purposes, and longer where a guarantee on the work is still running.
- Cookie consent records: up to 12 months from the date of the choice.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Be told how your data is used, which is what this policy does.
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, free of charge.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Request erasure of your data, where we have no overriding legal reason to keep it.
- Restrict or object to our processing of your data.
- Request that we transfer your data to you or another provider in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is our basis for processing.

Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please tell us first so we can put it right. Security
Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Enquiry data is stored in our website database with access restricted to authorised administrators, and it is protected by the security measures our hosting provider maintains. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable and appropriate steps to protect your information.
Data stored outside the UK
We aim to use suppliers who store data within the UK or the European Economic Area. Where a supplier stores data elsewhere, we ensure an appropriate safeguard recognised under UK data protection law is in place.
Children
Our services are aimed at property owners and occupiers. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
